Dataloggers support geotechnical sensors

The 5 to 15-channel DT80G and 32 to 48-channel DT85G dataTaker dataloggers work with all major brands of such geotechnical sensors as extensometers, piezometers, inclinometers, strain gauges, pressure cells, crack meters, and tilt meters as well as Carlson, electrolevel, and LVDT devices. An internal back-up battery gives 21-day stand-alone operation.

Expandable to 300 channels, the loggers have a built-in display, keypad, web server, and vibrating-wire support. Data can be recovered via USB memory stick, RS-232, FTP, cell phone, ModBus, Ethernet, or Web, and configuration/analysis software is supplied. (From less than $3,100 — available now.)
