The 6040 4-kVA ac power source offers enhanced automation control as well as overcurrent, overtemperature, and overvoltage protection. The supply has 50 programmable memories for nine-step routines, an RS-232 interface (GPIB optional), and an LCD to let operators monitor and program voltage, frequency, current, peak current, power, and power factor.
Other programmable parameters and modes include ramping voltage, test time, limits, waveform start/end angle, surge drop cycles, auto looping, and auto run mode. The unit outputs 0 to 300 V at 45 to 500 Hz can be adjusted with a front-panel knob during testing, but a lockout key can disable front-panel operation. ($7,595 available now.
