The V7812 6U VMEbus single-board computer features a dual- or quad-core Intel LV Xeon CPU and 5100 memory controller hub (MCH) with up to 12 Mbytes of L2 cache. The board has an ATI Radeon M72 graphics module and can be optionally ordered as a VXS board, providing an additional GbE connection routed to the P0 connector in addition to the dual ports on the front panel.
The boards MCH provides six PCI Express connections: one each to two GbE controllers, one to a Tundra Tsi148 VME bridge, one to two PMC PCI-X expansion sites, one to the GPU, and one to the serial-attached SCSI controller. Support is provided for up to 4 Gbytes of DDR2 SDRAM, six USB 2.0 ports, two or four GbE ports, and an optional 120-GByte HDD or 8-Gbyte SSD. (From $5,200 — available now.)
