The 6288 Series secure-lock ZIF connectors feature a shaped cable construction to ensure correct alignment and eliminate failure due to misalignment. A one-touch flip lock provides audible and tactile click feedback to prevent accidental removal of the cable in the field.
The connectors accept FFC/FPC cable and suit automotive applications including A/V devices, DVD and satellite navigation screens, digital speedometers, tachometers, and rear view mirror displays. The connectors come in 6 to 60 positions with a 0.5-mm pitch and operate in temperature from 40 to 105C. Contacts feature a gold flash finish for higher-reliability soldering.
