One of the industry’s first to use OLED display technology, the OLED SmartSwitch pushbutton switch improves switch display capabilities over conventional LCD-based devices. Compared with standard LCDs, the OLED switch is said to provide higher contrast, more brilliant images, 180° viewing angles, full colors, lower power consumption, faster response times, and no backlighting requirements.

The high-resolution switch features a programmable and changeable OLED module capable of 65,536 colors in 16-bit mode, and 256 colors in 8-bit mode. The device is capable of displaying full-motion video.

The emissive pushbutton switch operates by commands and data supplied via SPI. The switch is capable of 64RGB x 48-pixel resolution.

Footprint is 15.5 x 11.6 mm. Applications include A/V broadcast workstations, industrial control panels, medical equipment, and communications systems. (Contact Lee Pistor for pricing and availability.)
