The 9177 IDC connectors handle up to 15 A and are rated for use at up to 650 V to suit applications such as high-voltage inverters in the lighting industry. Available as a single-contact version for separate power handling or in two- and three-way configurations, the connectors are end stackable for larger pin counts.
Before assembly, the part is surface mounted to the PCB. Using mass-termination tools, stranded wire in sizes from 20 to 14 AWG can be inserted into the contact slot. (Per line, $0.30 ea/100 — 8 weeks ARO.)
