The constant-current PRM regulator demonstration board provides a precisely regulated current for multi-LED applications where intensity and brightness are controlled by regulating current. Such applications include high-end projectors, active outdoor advertising, and street, stadium, and architectural lighting.
The board can provide adjustable up to 5 A at 48 V (240 W) as an standalone non-isolated source or up to 100 A with VTM transformers to provide adjustable isolated current. The board has Kelvin connections for measuring component efficiency independent of load-connect losses as well as scope-probe jacks for measuring output voltage and ripple. ($125 — available now.)
