The SystemVue 2008 EDA platform for electronic system-level (ESL) design is meant for communications system architects and algorithm developers. The software provides innovative simulator and modeling technologies, along with links to hardware implementation and test, and allows algorithm creation and prototyping at the physical layer.
The tool is said to replace general-purpose digital, analog, and math environments by offering a dedicated signal processing ESL platform. It complements existing general-purpose EDA tools used to design FPGAs, DSPs, ASICs and analog/RF components and is suited to system architects of high-performance PHYs, with a dataflow simulator that handles multirate and multicarrier signals with RF-true effects up to 10x faster than general-purpose simulators.
