Designed to meet power conversion requirements in board-level product applications such as data acquisition, communications, and industrial I/O, the FED20W series of modular packaged dc/dc converters provide output power of 20 W. They accept 4:1 inputs from 9 to 75 Vdc. The 14 models in the series provide single and dual outputs from 3.3 to 15 Vdc.
The converters contain short-circuit protection, over-voltage protection and on/off control functions. An internal input filter eliminates the need for additional external components. The converter series provides 1,600-V input-to-output isolation and operates over the ambient temperature range from –40° to +75°C without forced cooling or output power derating.
