Controller supports globe-wide JTAG testing

The RIC-1000 remote instrumentation controller lets users apply JTAG/boundary scan tests anywhere directly over the Internet. The first of a proposed family of controllers, the unit connects locally to the JTAG ports of a circuit board or other unit under test and, via an Ethernet connection, to a remote ScanWorks embedded instrumentation platform.

Designed to implement a client/server architecture, each controller can be assigned a unique IP address that is used by a remote ScanWorks station to communicate with it. A single station can access and apply tests through multiple remotely located controllers. ($5,995 — available now.)
