STD Bus SBC has fast, low-power LX800 CPU

The LPM-LX800-G STD Bus single-board computer and AMD LX800 CPU and provides an upward performance migration path and a continued source of supply for STD Bus SBCs. The card can have up to 1 Gbyte of DRAM and up to 16 Gbytes of CompactFlash, and has a high-performance video engine for LCD/CRT displays.

The board’s CPU takes just 0.9 W, supports Windows XP embedded and Linux, and offers continuing long-term availability. The card has an Intel 82551ER 32-bit PCI 10/100 Ethernet controller, four USB 2.0 ports, and an RS-485 interface. It is ROHS compliant and operates at –40° to 85°C. ($895 — available now.)
