Designed to meet the challenging requirements of wireless data and PMR/LMR radio systems, the CMX992 quadrature receiver uses a superheterodyne receiver section along with IF local-oscillator circuitry. The part operates from 100 MHz to 1 GHz and supports multistandard digital and analog systems of both constant envelope and linear modulation types.
The receive path includes an integrated first RF mixer having two outputs to support two external 1st IF filter choices, then an integrated 2:1 filtered first IF input multiplexer, followed by VGA and wideband RSSI functions to support AGC implementation. Operating voltage is 3.3 or 1.8 V, and the part is housed in a 48-pin VQFN package. ($6.90 — available now.)
