The Micro SIP series of non-isolated dc/dc converters are open-frame designs that target high-speed networking, telecommunications, and computing applications. The modules operate over an input range from 4.5 to 13.8 Vdc and an output from 0.59 to 5.1 Vdc, and feature 91% efficiency. The converters include 3, 6, and 10-A active-high enable, and true active-high enable, converter modules.

The converters provide differential remote on/off, undervoltage lockout, and overcurrent/short-circuit protection. The devices switch at a fixed frequency of 500 kHz. Produced in a 5-pin SIP configuration, 3- and 10-A modules measure 0.65 x 0.41 x 0.32 in., while 6-A module measures 0.65 x 0.41 x 0.295 in.
