The A-01601 family of 160-W single output power supplies are 1U x 4 x 2-in. footprint switchers that provide 12.5 W/in.3 with convection cooling and 20-W/in.3 when fan cooled. Output options include 5, 12, 24, and 48 V. All models have a 12-V auxiliary output for fan/standby purposes.
With up to 92% efficiency, these power-factor-corrected switching power supplies suit ITE and some medical applications. The supplies have universal ac input, operate from 170 to 370 Vdc, and provide a 16-ms holdup time. Auto-recovery overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit, and overtemperature protection are standard, and operating temperature range is –20° to 70°C with derating.
