A line of VXS backplanes is now available in an eight-slot configuration offering a Star routing topology that fits most 4U-high horizontal-mount enclosures. Compliant with VITA 41.0 specifications, the backplane features one hub slot and seven payload slots in a 14-layer controlled-impedance stripline design.
The 6U-high backplane has power studs in 3.3, 5, 12 V, and GND along the top and bottom to offer power flexibility. (Less than $1,500 — 4 to 6 weeks ARO.)
