The SeaLINK/PC.SC and SeaLINK+2/PC.SC single- and dual-port embedded USB to serial adapters add serial ports to any PC using the computer’s internal USB connection. The ports are software configurable through the driver software for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485.
The cards support data rates to 921.6 Kbits/s and use a state-machine architecture that greatly reduces the host computer’s overhead. Both models are USB bus powered and include a standard PC bracket and an internal USB cable. ($179 and $229 stock.)
