The cPCI-6920 series 6U CompactPCI processor blade features one or two quad-core or dual-core Intel processors, a server-class 5100 chipset, four SO-RDIMM sockets for up to 16 Gbytes of DDR2-667, and a 1066 MHz front side bus. The card also has a 64 bit/66 MHz PMC or x8 PCI-Express XMC site for I/O expansion.

The rugged blade offers RAID 0/1 enabled SATA/SCSI device support via a rear transition module (RTM), and reserves space for a 2.5-in. Serial ATA hard-disk drive directly mounted on the card. It also has available a CompactFlash slot, an embedded 4-Gbyte USB flash, four RJ-45 GbE ports, eight USB 2.0 ports, two DB-9 serial ports, and a DB-15 analog graphics port.
