Op amps offer low noise

The single ADA4817-1 and dual ADA4817-2 1-GHz FastFET amplifiers are unity-gain stable, ultra-high-speed voltage feedback amplifiers with FET inputs and a low noise of 4 nV/√Hz. With an offset voltage of 2 mV max, an input capacitance of 1.5 pF, and a −3-dB bandwidth of 1,050 MHz, the parts are ideal for data acquisition front ends as well as wideband transimpedance applications, such as photodiode preamps.

A voltage range from 5 to 10 V gives these amplifiers the ability to operate on either single or dual supplies. The ADA4817-1 is housed 8-lead LFCSP and 8-lead SOIC packages, and the ADA4817-2 is housed in a 16-lead LFCSP. (Ea/1,000: ADA4817-1, $2.95; ADA4817-2, $4.98 — available now.)
