The BMR450 is a digitally controlled, non-isolated voltage regulator rated at 20 A. It has a current density of 120 A/in.3 compared to a similar analog voltage regulator that offers 43 A/in.3 . The product suits communication technology equipment, wireless and fixed networks, optical network equipment, data server and data storage, as well as medical, process control, and automotive applications.

The voltage regulator has an input voltage range from 4.5 to 14 V and an adjustable output voltage range from 0.7 to 5 V, with an output current of 20 A providing up to 100 W. The 1.01 x 0.51 x 0.323-in. regulator provides 96.8% efficiency at half load. An evaluation kit comprising an evaluation board and operating manual. A CD is available.
