The CLC175 175-W single-output, open-frame ac/dc power supply measures 3 x 5 x 1.25 in. It fits into a standard 1U space and has a power density of 9.3 W/in.3 The resonant topology converter techniques used in the design help offer 87% typ efficiency. It requires 10-cfm forced airflow to achieve full power output. The supply also provides a 12–Vdc, 0.5–A fan output.
The supply has output voltages of 12, 24 or 48 Vdc, from a universal input of 85 to 264 Vac. Remote sense is included as standard to compensate for up to a 0.5 Vdc total voltage drop in the end-system. The units operate from 0° to 70°C, with full power available up to 50°C.
