The Cougar radar input and scan converter VME board set provides an open standards-based high-performance solution for capturing, converting and mixing radar video. The Intel Core 2 Duo-based host single board computer supports two independent radar channels inputs at rates up to 16k samples per return.
Inputs supported include radar video, triggers, and azimuth turning data for RADDS, ACP/ARP with sampling rates up to 50 MHz on each of two analog inputs, which can be mixed with up to eight digital radar inputs.
