Sealed tactile switches are low profile, reliable

The sealed, 4.3–mm KSC741 and KSC721 low-profile tactile switches feature positive tactile feel in a range of six actuation forces and an extended life to one million actuations. Current rating for the SPST, normally open devices ranges from 1 to 50 mA for silver plating and 1 to 10 mA for gold plating. Contact resistance is less than 100 mΩ, maximum power ratings for the silver and gold are 1 VA and 0.2 VA, respectively, with a maximum voltage of 32 Vdc.

Operating temperature ranges from –40° to 125°C, depending on plating. The switches feature J-bend and gullwing terminals, and are available on tape and reel packaging for automated assembly. (From $0.15 to $0.19 ea/minimum of 10,000 — available now.)
