LNA and log detector target broadband apps

The HMC713MS8(E) logarithmic detector/controller and the HMC758LP3(E) GaAs pHEMT MMIC LNA support broadband applications between 100 MHz and 2.9 GHz. Housed in a MSOP-8 SMT package, the HMC713MS8(E) delivers a high ±1-dB dynamic range of 54 dB from 100 to 2,700 MHz, operates from 2.7 to 5.5 V, and consumes 17 mA.

Housed in a QFN SMT package, the HMC758LP3(E) operates from a single supply between 3 and 5 V, provide 1.7-dB noise figure, 21-dB gain, and up to 37-dBm output IP3. (ea/10-99, HMC713MS8, $2.93; HMC758LP3, $10.73 — available now.)
