XOs offer low phase jitter, high frequency

Based on the company’s IC silicon technology and Saronix-eCera quartz technology, the 2.5/3.3-V SX/SN series and 3.3-V SD/SH series of XP crystal oscillators (XO) are designed for a phase jitter of 0.25 ps rms typical for high-frequency 2.5- and 3.3-V CMOS/PECL clock applications. The oscillators cover the challenging 150 to 220-MHz frequency spectrum.

The product is drop-in compatible with existing overtone, SAW, and PLL-based oscillator solutions in 4-pin 5 x 7-mm (2.5/3.3-V SX CMOS series), 6-pin 5 x 7-mm (2.5/3.3-V SN PECL), and 6-pin 3.2 x 5-mm (3.3-V SD PECL series) packages. (From $1.30 to $3.00 ea/100,000 — available now.)
