The BD91x Series step-down switching regulators combine propriety simple light load technology with current-mode PWM control to provide load regulation at both low- and high-current load conditions. The transfer to/from conventional PWM control technique improves the efficiency by 100% to 200% over standard PWM controllers.
The regulators offer single and dual outputs and have output current ratings of 4 A. They exhibit almost zero current in standby mode, and provide fixed- and variable-output voltage with an accuracy of ±1.5 to ±2.0%. ($ 1.00 to $1.80/small OEM qty samples available now.)
