Mini POL regulators offer 12-W output

The SR7810 is a family of POL switching regulators that provide up to 12-W output power. The regulators replace linear types for board-level applications that require miniature size and high efficiency.

Five standard models operate from inputs of 4.75 to 32 Vdc, providing regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 6.5, 9, or 12 Vdc. Output current for all models is 1 A. Standard features include 96% efficiency, overload protection, overtemperature protection, and continuous short-circuit protection. The converter family is packaged in 0.45 x 0.35 x 0.69-in. SIP cases. Each model is specified for operation from –40° to 71°C with no derating or heat sink required. ($5.40 ea/100 — available now.)
