The low-cost STM8S105 8-bit MCU features a 16-MHz advanced core with a three-stage pipeline. It has up to 32 Kbytes of flash with data retention of 20 years at 55°C after 10 kcycles, a 1-Kbyte EEPROM, and 2 Kbytes of RAM.
The IC has a 16-bit timer with four CAPCOM channels, complementary outputs, dead-time insertion, and flexible synchronization. The chip includes a seven-channel 10-bit A/D converter, a UART, I2 C and SPI ports, and 3.0 to 5.5-V operation. ($0.89 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
