Designed for flexibility to meet the needs of many environments, the MGE Galaxy EPS 8000 is a 1,000/1,100-kVA UPS that offers a paralleling capability with an external static switch. These power solutions can boost capacity from 1,000 to 3,300 kVA, and support data centers and computer rooms, as well as industrial, medical imaging, factory floor and electrical room applications.
The three-phase, single module systems are available with 1,000 to 1,100-kVA power ratings. The system restricts total harmonic distortion to less than 5%, has a 100% step-load capability for a fast response to load changes, and incorporates fault-tolerant circuitry to protect it from accidental short circuits.
