The UEI30 isolated 4:1 input dc/dc converters provide 30-W output power from a 1.8-in.2 board area. Designed for PCB mounting, the modules suit battery and mains powered equipment including small instruments, computer-based systems, datacom equipment, remote sensor systems, and vehicle electronics.
The converter series comprises eight I/O combinations supplying regulated fixed output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 15 Vdc and a choice of inputs of 9 to 36 Vdc or 18 to 75 Vdc. A synchronous rectifier forward topology helps the converters achieve 91% efficiency.
