The PDC 500 dc/dc converter is encapsulated in a thermally conductive MIL-spec. silicon rubber compound for immunity to shock, vibration, and moisture and is suitable for operation in transportation, oil and gas, mining, industrial automation, and utility environments. It operates in a –40°C to 60°C cold-plate temperature range, with extended temperature ranges available. The PDC 500 is designed to meet IEC 61373 Categories 1 A and B shock and vibration standards.
The converter uses push-pull topology to deliver 12, 24, 48, or 110 Vdc, and it operates from 24-, 48-, or 125-Vdc supply voltages. At 125-Vdc input, the unit can provide up to 600 W output power. ($300 ea/100 — available now.)
