The AM1DC-Z series dc/dc converters provide 6,000–Vdc I/O isolation with a supplemental isolation barrier of 2.5 mm. Input voltages of 5, 12, and 24 Vdc convert to single and dual output voltages of ±3.3, ±5, ±9, ±12, and ±15 Vdc with continuous short-circuit protection.
Operating at 79% efficiency within an ambient temperature range of –40° to 71°C at full load, or up to 85°C with derating, the converters are suited for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications including test and measurement, and motor control. The converters are designed in a 19.56 x 9.90 x 12.45-mm SIP7 package and have an I/O isolation barrier that meets the IEC 60950-1:2001 safety standard rated for 250-Vac working voltage.
