LNA improves sensitivity in GPS receivers

Designed to run on supply voltages as low as 1.6 V, the UPC8240T6N LNA is ideal for use with new-generation GPS engines. The part delivers a gain of 28 dB typical, a noise figure of 1.0 dB typical, a current consumption of 6.5 mA typ, and a power save current of 1 μA.
