Via-configurable arrays feature Cortex-M0 CPU
The Mocha family of via-configurable arrays (VCAs) feature analog, digital, and memory building blocks on an array that can be configured by changing a single via layer. The devices feature a very-low-power 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0 processor with 4 to 16 Kbytes of RAM.
Vias are placed on the VCA using analog-aware, via-only, automatic place-and-route software. A custom configuration can include op-amp tiles, A/D and D/A converters, voltage regulators, H-bridge configurations, and I/O up to 70 V. Parts can be delivered from the foundry in as little as four weeks. ($1.50 to $7.50 ea/high volume available now.)
