VCO offers low phase noise

The CRO1220A-LF VCO in L-band, operates at 1,220 MHz with a tuning-voltage range of 0 to 5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of −118 dBc/Hz at 10-kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 2 MHz/V.

The part is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5-Vdc supply while drawing 18 mA typ over the temperature range of 0° to 70°C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of −24 dBc and comes in a MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.22 in. (Call company for pricing — available now.)
