The OPA775 and OPA776 “Jacob’s Ladder” daylight white LED backlighting strips provide a 120° light beam angle, suiting them for even illumination of small and medium areas, such as light boxes and PoS displays. The “Jacob’s Ladder” configuration lets users employ a single power supply and one connector for multistrip configurations.

The OPA775 strip consists of one 7.5-in. FR-4 board with three LEDs and operates at 12 V, while the OPA776 consists of two boards (six LEDs) and runs at 24 V. Output is 50 lm per strip, with 125-mA LED drive current. (OPA775, $5.58 to $5.70 ea / 1,000; OPA776, $10.85 to $11.18 ea / 1,000 — stock to 8 weeks ARO.)
