The superGRIP assembly is a two-part attachment system featuring a low-profile maxiFLOW heat sink with spread fin architecture, allowing the assembly to test at an air flow rate of 0.5 m/s (100 ft/m), 20% less than devices with traditional heat sinks. The assemblies have a plastic frame clip that secures to the perimeter of the component, and a metal spring clip that fits through the heat sink’s fin field.
Fifty-one heat sink-PCM-attachment system assemblies are available for component sizes from 15 x 15 mm to 45 x 45 mm. Heat sinks are available in heights of 7.5, 12.5, and 17.5 mm. The system is also available in custom designs. (Including heat sink, from less than $10 ea/1,000 — available now.)
