Tape offers high thermal conductivity

The Keratherm KL 90 double-sided adhesive tape can provide 1.4 W/mK of thermal conductivity from components to heat sinks. Offering a thermal impedance of 208C-mm2 /W, the tape consists of a ceramic-filled acrylic adhesive film that eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners.

A fiberglass-reinforced version, the KL 91, is also available. Both tapes are silicon-free and can be cleanly removed using a thin-edge blade. Standard thickness of the tape is 0.300 mm. The KL 09 is supplied on 400–mm-wide rolls, and in custom die-cut shapes. (Per square in., from $0.22 — available now.)
