Serial EEPROMs feature 1.5-V operation

The 24VL014, 24VL014H, 24VL024, 24VL024H, and 24VL025 1- or 2-Kbit serial EEPROMs feature 1.5-V operating voltage for both read and write operations. At 1.8 V and above, the devices operate at 400 kHz and below that at 100 kHz. Operating current is below 400 µA, and standby below 1 µA.

The chips provide more than 1-M erase/write cycles and some models can be ordered with a full-array or half-array write protect. They are available in 8-pin SOIC, MSOP, PDIP, and 2 x 3-mm TDFN packages. ($0.31 to $0.40 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
