High-precision op amps offer low power

The MCP6051/2/4 (MCP605X), MCP6061/2/4 (MCP606X) and MCP6071/2/4 (MCP607X) op amps feature, respectively, a gain bandwidth product (GBWP) of 385 kHz and a quiescent current of 30 µA, a GBWP of 730 kHz, and a quiescent current of µA, and a GBWP of 1.2 MHz and a quiescent current of 110 µA. The devices offer offset voltages of just 150 µV and are well suited for applications in the industrial, medical, and consumer markets.

Additional features include an operating voltage from 1.8 to 6.0 V, rail-to-rail input and output, and an extended temperature range of –40° to 125°C. They are unity-gain stable and are trimmed in-package to enable their low offset voltage, which results in reduced error at high gains. (From $0.46 ea/10,000 — samples, late June 2009.)
