SBC uses 5 W Atom CPU and chipset

The ML936-B16 ECX (Embedded Compact Extended)format single-board computer is based on the low-power 1.6-GHz Atom Z530P processor and the US15WP system controller hub. The 4.13 x 5.75-in. board features hyper-threading, virtualization, and Intel SpeedStep technologies. The processor and chipset require less than 5 W.

The card has up to 1 Gbyte of DDR2 RAM, one PCI Express Gigabit LAN controller, four USB ports, two serial ports, a PS/2 port, an IDE Ultra ATA/100 interface, a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header, and 24-bit stereo audio. An optional EXT-ECX2 expansion card has four USB 2.0 and four serial ports, one parallel port, a floppy-disk controller, a Mini PCI Express expansion slot, a memory card slot, and an 8-line GPIO interface.
