Designed for linking generators to low-voltage networks, the PowerLock sequential connecting box uses only 2 U of rack space in a 19-in. rack. The box is offered in two versions: fully sealed with a lid covering the connector ports and standard, which is sealed only when connectors are mated.
The box is environmentally sealed to IP 65 standards, and available in 400- and 660-A versions. Voltage rating is 1,000 Vac/1,500 Vdc, the operating temperature range is from –30° to 85°C and life cycles up to 500 connections. The UL 94V-0-approved device features IP2X finger protection and three-phase color coding to meet European, North American, and Australian standards. ($500 to $600 each — available now.)
