Free plug-in aids OMAP audio/video processing
The free GStreamer plug-in provides an open-source library for audio and video playback, audio and video synchronization, and recording. It targets OMAP35x processors using embedded Linux and helps optimize systems using the devices for tasks such as video and audio decoding/encoding.
The plug-in has an extensible industry-standard and open-source framework that allows incorporation of other modules. Its pipeline engine allows developers to create custom workflows, and RidgeRun, a developer network member, is available for contract support. (Free available now.)
