The DNT2400 configurable low-cost 2.4-GHz radio module features frequency-hopping spread-spectrum (FHSS) operation. It targets Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications, industrial automation, and wireless sensor networking. The modules data rates vary from 38.4 to 500 kbits/s, and the transmit power can be adjusted from 1 to 100 mW.
The unit features a UART port, three A/D converter inputs, two D/A outputs, and six GPIOs, making it well suited for any sensor application. The 2.01 x 1.26 x 0.18-in. device takes just 50 µA in sleep mode. ($69 — available July.)
