Targeting solid-state lighting and general illumination applications, the MIC3230/31/32 high-brightness LED drivers can drive 1- and 3-W and higher-power LEDs. Features include an input range from 6 to 45 V, a feedback voltage of 250 mV, and programmable current control. In addition, the parts can drive an output up to 70 W.
The MIC3230/31 have an adjustable operating frequency from 10 kHz to 1 MHz, and the MIC3232 has a fixed-frequency operation of 400 kHz. The MIC3231 features a dithering capability that can reduce EMI by up to 12 dB. All parts offer a PWM dimming capability, an enable pin, OVP, overtemperature protection, and UVLO.
