Hall-effect sensor comes in SOT-23s

Suited for transportation abd industrial applications, the SS30AT bipolar Hall-effect magnetic position sensor is housed in SOT-23 surface-mount packages. The part operates from 4.5 to 24-Vdc supply voltages and up to 125°C. It also offers built-in reverse-voltage protection.

The sensor is a versatile digital Hall-effect device operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet designed to respond to alternating north and south poles. Sinking output with an open collector allows the sensor to interface with many electrical components without buffering. ($0.25 ea/prod qty — available now.)
