Modules serve up Wi-Fi or 10/100Base-T

Nano Socket iWiFi is an 802.11b/g embedded Wi-Fi module that includes an antenna, and Nano Socket LAN is a 10/100Base-T LAN module with an RJ45 connector. The RoHS-compliant units come in 45 x 25-mm and 35 x 24-mm low-profile form factors.

The logical interface between the host application and the modules is Connect One’s AT+i protocol, a simple text-based API. The modules serve as a communications offload engine, with inherent firewall, and include Internet security and encryption algorithms (AES-128/256, SHA-128/192/256, 3DES, SSL3/TLS1 protocol for a secure client socket session) for end-to-end encryption support.
