The ISL54222A is a single-supply USB 2.0 high-speed multiplexer provides capability for two USB transceivers to share a low-capacitance 480-Mbit/s path. The chip runs on 1.8 to 3.3 V and features HBM electrostatic discharge performance of >12 kV on I/O terminals.
The IC is configured as a DPDT switch and features internal charge pumps that lower switch resistance to 5.5 Ω. It has fail-safe operation that provides low switch leakage when the power is off, and it comes in μTQFN, TQFN, and MSOP packages. ($0.52 ea/1,000 — available now.)
