The ADP2114 dual-output, synchronous, step-down dc/dc regulator suits precision output voltage regulation and supports switching frequencies up to 2 MHz with optimized gate slew rate. The regulator achieves 95% efficiency and targets PoL medical, consumer, communications infrastructure and industrial system applications. It targets conversion for dual- and single-rail devices such as ADCs, DSPs, and FPGAs.
The device is configurable as a dual-channel 2–A regulator, a dual-channel regulator with 3–A and 1–A outputs, or as a single interleaved 4–A output with reduced output ripple. It provides soft start to minimize inrush currents and reverse current limit protection. The device provides an enable input and PGOOD output features, supports programmable frequencies of 300 kHz, 600 kHz or 1.2 MHz. as well as a range of fixed- or adjustable-output voltages.
