High-voltage precision op amp operates at 20% lower noise

Suited for applications requiring both high dc accuracy and ac performance, the 40-V ISL28127 bipolar precision operational amplifier is claimed to operate with 20% lower noise and consume 30% less power than competing devices. The device features a current consumption of 2.2 mA, a voltage noise performance of 3.0 nV/√Hz at 10 Hz, a maximum offset voltage of 70 µV, and a maximum input bias current of 10 nA.

It also features an offset voltage drift performance of 0.5 µV/°C max, a wide operating supply voltage range of 4.5 to 40 V, and a gain bandwidth of 10 MHz. The ISL28127 is unity-gain stable over the full –40° to 125°C temperature range. Housed in an SOIC 8-lead package, the op amp also offers an ESD protection of 4-kV HBM.
