A range of intelligent fans for cooling 19-in. 1U racks consists of two depths: a 250-mm-deep unit fitted with three fans and a 350-mm-deep unit with six fans. They are fitted with either a 3-mm-thick silver anodized aluminum or a 3-mm black-powder-coated steel front panel. The fans operate from 12, 24, or 48 Vdc or 115 or 230 Vac, and each unit is available with or without a replaceable filter.
The fans are managed by a controller that restricts the fans at half-speed up to 35C, with linear speed increases to a maximum at 55C. If one fan in a bank of three fails, the remaining fans increase to full speed and an alarm is generated. (Contact sales@verotec.us for pricing and availability.)
